This Bearing Retainer is compatible for the following Dyson models: UP22 | UP24 | UP32 | UP34

Fitting & Installation

This is a replacement component only and requires fitting to your existing motor head. Installation involves partially dismantling the motor head to access and replace the original bearing retainer.

Before fitting, inspect the existing bearing for wear or damage, if your bearing is in any way worn or damaged this needs to be addressed before fitting the bearing. The original bearing should be lubricated and free before fitting the new retainer.

Ensure the new retainer is correctly positioned and securely fitted before reassembling the motor head. The part should fit without excessive force. Incorrect installation may damage the component or motor head.

Professional fitting is recommended if you are unfamiliar with vacuum cleaner repairs.
